This weekend...

City Art Project, the organization behind The Redlight Art Galleries in Akron, is celebrating the grand opening of their second gallery, located in Riverfront Mall near the amphitheater and fountain at 2091 Front Street, on Friday May 9th from 5p.m. - 10p.m.

Robert Breitenstine, a Senior from the University of Akron will be the featured guest artist of the evening, exhibiting his works of black and white photography.
The gallery features working studio and exhibition space for 14 local artists: Todd V, Ron White, Don Parsisson, Trey Berry, Steve Pierce, Rebecca Borelli, Lynda Rimke, Linda Nye, Sally Heston, Henry Walker, Ethan Rimke, Shawn Hubert, Deborah Thompson and Rebecca Urbanski.

River Gallery is proud to present an exhibit of new work by Bonnie Gordon, Jen Prox, Erica Weiss and Barbara Gillette.

The opening is Saturday, May 10th, from 12 - 8pm.
